I think students should collect goods and clothing for charities. . Both people should help .I think students should start doing charity when they understand why there doing it . Some ways that I helped doing charity was bring clothes and shoes and also can goods to school for charity.

  2. db3

A students role in charitys is to give back as much as they can because they don’t have bills or anything. They should help the people in need. I think you should aid the needy weather your 15 or 30 no matter what age. I also belive that we should start giving back as soon as we have somthing to give. Recently I’ve givin away cloths and shoes that don’t fit and also canned food.

  3. SC2

#3 I think there shouldnt be an age set to how you can help. You can either be 50 or 5 years old but you can still make a good difference in the world.

  4. Mo3

I think that some ways of the ways people could help on charitable organizations are like making clothes and giving it out to them to wear it.

  5. JG3

Other ways that I have helped charitable organizations is I donate old clothes I don’t want to charities that send the clothes to people who need it. At my church we also always do fund raisers and such to help the less fortunate and I always chip in and help.

  6. MO2

#1 A students role is to help charity in any way they can. To volunteer in any place they can that helps support others. To help without getting something in return. To donate money with what they have. To encourage there parents to also help charities.

  7. AC2

I think at the age students should begin helping with charitable efforts is at 13 because that is when we’re considered somewhat mature when we graduate middle school and go next to high school.

  8. AL2

I honestly don’t think that there should be a specific age for helping. Any body can help change the world by giving something to charity. Any thing given to them helps them.

  9. KW3

In my opinion I feel that a students role to support charity should be giving back because they need our support and help. I also feel that a students role towards supporting charity should be used more often so they can really see what its really like to help others.

  10. Darrylb3

    3. At what age should students begin helping with charitable efforts?

    A. Once a student enter school or even before they can start helping charitable efforts. (Age 5 or 6) They can collect coins from older people and even push their parents to start helping.

  11. TF2

In my opinion there are many things that a student can do to support charities. There are food drives that collect can goods. Sometimes the church have collections for different items for people in need. A student can also help out a couple hours at a food pantry.

  12. JL2

#3. In my opinion, I believe people should begin with charitable efforts at any age. It doesn’t matter how old someone is, they could still make an effort by simply donating a can of food. My little cousin, who is in kindergarten, told me everyone in her whole class had donated at least 2 cans of food to a charity.

  13. RP1

I think a student’s role to support charities is to donate stuff like toys they don’t use or play with. I think aiding charities is a responsibility for both young adults and for adults; adults are the ones who benefit in receiving tax breaks for their charitiable contributions. The age they should begin helping with charitable efforts is 13 and up. Some other ways besides the Empty Bowl project that I have personally helped a charitable organization with is by donating clothes, canned foods, and shoes.

A child should be encouraged to help in charitable organizations as young as the age of 5 or when ever they physical able to. They can help pack food boxes or cleaning bags for the homless. At a young age even before their old enough to understand the impact their having on someones life . I think all parents should encourage their children to get involved with charities so that it becomes apart of them as they grow and they can continue the tradition onto their children because their will always be someone whos less fortunate than them. Who knows one day we might need someone to care enough about us to come out to a local church and pack food boxes. So I encourage at what ever age that people do and give what they are able.

  15. nj1

I think anyone could donate to charity. After all, there is no age limit for donations. There are many different things to donate.

  16. AB2

One of the student’s role is for supporting charities is making something that comes from their heart. Kids of all should start donating stuff the homeless but mostly around the age when they are in middle school and their four years in hight school.

  17. tea1

Students should start donating and giving small items like toys, clothes, shoes. Stuff they do not want but are still in good shape. Age five is a good age to start participating in a charity and start donating. By age 5, kids should know what they want and don’t want and should understand the concept and meaning behind giving back to your community and giving or donating to a good cause.

  18. Mr1

I think students don’t have to be a specific age to help with charities. They should have their own option to what they want to do. If they want to help in the charities then they should that would be great. But if they don’t then it’s also fine as well.

  19. CAG1

I believe that students should start donating and helping others when they first enter school. Helping others is a great way for students to learn how to give to others who need it.

  20. JD1

#3. Students should start aiding charities at whatever age. There is not an age where you should it doesn’t mean you have to but it will help other people if you do.

  21. CM3

#2 The responsibility is for both. It doesn’t matter if your an adult with a job or a young adult you should aid a charity to help others and the more that help the better the charity.

  22. Tj1

I think that the empty bowl project is a great project for kids to experience. They are giving back by just making these bowls. I think this should stay around kids really look forward to doing things like this.

  23. Jw1

In the past I have raised money for a cancer organization with my school. We had a whole week of fun filled donating events that took place. Such as having a basketball game and you had to pay to get in,also passing out food and paying to get food at the game, and we also had to donate money to which teacher we wanted to throw pie at. All the money we raised went to charity.

  24. ST1

    Q. At what age should students begin helping with charitable efforts?
    A. I personally believe that students can start helping make charitable efforts at any age. Starting young with small ideas, can eventually lead to bigger and better ideas.

  25. FG1

Other ways besides making the empty bowls is to actually give food to those who [are starving] and can not eat a meal everyday. Sometimes in my church we have canned food drives which is awesome! We donate our food to the people in need. I believe that if everyone works as a society we can take baby steps to stop world hunger.

  26. Sw1

Another way instead of the empty bowl is donating money to those In need. We can donate food so the homeless can eat. No matter what, everyone can have a part in this charity event.

  27. Ks1

A students role in all charitable events are to think of their loved ones and put them in the place that these homeless people are because, it can be their relatives in this sitiation. All of us can not give up because we can work together.

In my opinion there shouldn’t be a age. There can be a family who loves to donate and they can have a baby or a child any age and she/he can help out. The age doesn’t matter, donating and helping making a change is important.

  29. E.V1

#3 I don’t believe there should be a certain age you should be able to help, I mean of course if you’re too young to read or write or even know right from wrong then that’s definitely a no no. I believe that as you start mature as a young adult some may want to help in charitable events other may not but I believe a good age will be when you really fully understand what cause you’re working for .

  30. JMA1

    Q. At what age should students begin helping with charitable efforts?

    A. I think students can start at any age. Parents can take their kids to organizations to help when they are little. If they grow up with the habit of helping, if they like it, they will keep doing this as they grow older and even have their own children help.

  31. Jr1

    3. I think students should start at any age because it makes them understand what they are doing to help kids who have diseases and defect and find a cure for them.

  32. ad1

Students play a huge role in supporting charities. Student can have their schools do something to give to charities. Also I feel that helping charities is something everyone should do. Anybody at any age can give to charities by doing simple things such as taking in can goods.

  33. js7

I think they’re shouldn’t be an age where someone can start helping in charity, I think a lot of family should actually start teaching their children the give out to charity at a young age, but there shouldn’t be an age for someone to help other people.

  34. EZ6

I think you don’t need to be a certain age to help out. Anyone can do something to help out the charities.

  35. JL7

I think that there should not be an age limit when it comes to helping out charities.Children can be a big role to it because they can help out as well as young adults too.Everyone can help out by giving clothes that you don’t wear anymore or give out goods.

  36. aa7

I honestly think that anybody, no matter what age, should feel not the responsibility, but the need to support charity. It is just a very nice and kind thing to do. Being able to help those in need. Starting a nice organization to donate things, give to charity to help others is just everything.

  37. Dm1

i believe that age should not matter when contributing to charities or any other help organization. What i do believe is that young people might not really think about the help they can bring to others since they don’t think about stuff like that at the moment. Now a days people just want to have fun and party. What we should do is try to help others that need it even if you’re young any help counts.

  38. kg7

I think kids should start at a young age, so once they grow up they know how to donate, and they have more of the experience and they’ll be able to understand why we donate.

  39. Kc1

I think students should start helping with charitable efforts as soon as they turn 13. By this time students should be mature enough to start helping with charitable things. They should know right from wrong and be grateful that they are helping someone in need.

  40. MS1

I think students should get involved in charities.it doesn’t have to be going places simply donating some clothes is good. If u want to expand you can travel places and actually do stuff to help people.

  41. AL1

Is aiding charities a responsibility for a young adult or only for adults who benefit by receiving tax breaks for their charitiable contributions?

Yes aiding is a responsibility for a young adult as well as for adults because its important to give back to your community and to others who need help especially when you have everything you need. You will never know when you will be put into a situation of help so its always important to do to others what you would want done to you in your need of help.

  42. EC6

Another way I helped out a charity was at my old school, around Christmas time. I donated cans of food and 2 jackets. I turned them in to my teacher and she turned them in to a charity that helped out the homeless during the winter.

  43. OR7

I think people should start helping out charities at a young age. I remembered when i was younger that in my old school we had a big box and anyone can put can food’s and clothes they didn’t use anymore. They use to take all that stuff and take it to the homless shelters.

  44. ss7

#3:It doesn’t matter what age they are they to can help for charities, its actually quite nice to have youngsters helping out at charities and events. Its also never to late to help even if your an elderly.Even grade school try to make kids help out by donating cans of food for people who cant afford food.Charities should be held everywhere so more people can be involved and make a huge difference that’s why I’m glad to make a bowl for the need.

  45. SF7

I think that students can help charities by collecting various foods and clothes that you might not use as much anymore. Students can also support charities by telling people about them and spreading awareness about the charity that they are involved in.

  46. KS6

To help charity events you could be any age young or old. A student role plays a big part in charity because its so many of us as we get our education one of us might get rich and start our own charity. Some ways we can help is donating or helping out a various events. This is what I have to say about these questions.

  47. JL6

I personally have helped many different organizations help out others in need. I have donated clothes, canned goods and money to many different charities. These items were used to help families who could not afford clothes, food and a shelter. The money donated was also used to help cancer patients.

  48. RG6

In my opinion, i think the student’s role of charity is to give as much as they can, even if it’s not a lot. Adults as well as young adults should give what they can to help out. One way i helped out is by participating at church by feeding the homeless.

  49. JL6

A students role is basically helping the world with charity and give enough as it is to help out more. I’ve helped some organizations with donations like the salvation army and all those thing and it’s always good to help out with charity.
